inHealth‘s medically based weight loss program offers a three-phase, science-based approach to your goal, and not just another one-size-fits-all program. While you work with our top-notch coaching staff you can expect the highest level of individualized care. This program is medically supervised through our live, online telehealth portal and state-of-the-art Bluetooth® enabled health tracking devices. Our protocols include customized nutrition plans with intensive behavioral components and exercise regimens for individuals, usually with a BMI of 25 or higher. Losing weight (and maintaining it) is a balancing act, and your lifestyle is the biggest part of the equation. Fad diets may promise you that counting carbs or eating a mountain of grapefruit will make the pounds drop off, but when it comes to sustainable weight loss, it’s your lifestyle changes that count. We can help!

Where it all begins

Active Weight Loss: The active weight loss phase is where you can expect to lose the majority of your weight. We will customize a multidisciplinary plan with three key components including nutrition, fitness, and behavior modification. Expected weight loss during this phase is anywhere from 2-6 lbs a week depending on a number of key factors.

Your personal health coach or dietitian will meet with you to build a plan that is precisely based on your unique goals and biochemistry. Depending on your needs and goals, this phase can last anywhere from 12-26 weeks, but may extend beyond if medically indicated. During Active Weight Loss, you will meet with your health coach on a weekly basis to ensure the utmost safety and efficacy. In addition to your weekly visits, you will be encouraged to attend our super inspiring, motivating, online education classes. All visits and classes are done through our mobile app or on your desktop/laptop computer.

Note: Our health coaches are unable to discuss medical conditions unless you are participating in our medical weight los program and being monitored by a doctor. Many patients are able to reduce or eliminate medications used in the treatment of diabetes, thyroid conditions, high blood pressure, depression, and many more, but you must be monitored by a doctor.


Results you can maintain

Transition: Our transition program will prepare your body to finally maintain your new “set weight” for the rest of your life, while losing those last few pounds. Without transitioning through your weight loss program properly, you will not maintain the goal weight you’ve worked so hard to achieve.

Once you are within 5-10 pounds of your goal weight, the Transition phase begins. Typically lasting 4-6 weeks, weekly visits with your health coach will continue. Weekly classes are still highly recommended. Our most successful patients are those that stay connected to the educational classes, receiving accountability and knowledge.

During Transition, fresh grocery food is the main focus. Now that you are at a healthier weight, we also begin to increase fitness levels to maximize your true health potential.

Maintenance: Now we want to help you maintain your healthy lifestyle. We will look at the new skills you’ve acquired, things that worked during your weight loss (active weight loss phase) and your specific challenges so we can help you stay at your new, healthy weight. You are welcome (and encouraged) to remain in our program and part of our inHealth family as long as you’d like. Maintenance is a life-long journey and we are here to help you along the way.
