inHealth coaches improve patient care and strengthen your medical practice
Refer patients with BMI of 30 or above, or 25 or above with co-morbidities. Providers can write the referral similar to how they’d write a prescription. “I’m writing you a referral to inHealth. They help my patients make health changes.”
inHealth gets preauthorization for telehealth coaching for the patient. Coverage differs by payer. Medicare covers unlimited weekly visits while commercial insurance usually limits coverage to 26 per year.
Patients download the InHealthNow HIPAA-compliant app from the app store (Apple or Google) and schedule their first appointment or they’ll receive a call from one of our coaches to schedule. Patients meet with the coach weekly or biweekly live via in-app video. They’ll receive education and tips from the coach in between visits via the app. Patients use the app to track food, exercise, and sleep, and the app connects to over 100 wearable and smart devices like smart scales, FitBits, Apple Watch, etc. Patients and coaches can message each other via the app.
After tele-visits, coaches write chart notes (SOAP) after visits and send them to the provider.
